Q1: Who can enjoy this service?

Q2: How to apply DNS Hosting Service?

A: Just 4 simple steps to get there:

Step 1: Please log in to your account
Step 2: Select and click on the domain
Step 3: Click “DNS Hosting” in Domain Information Manager
Step 4: Create or Change the details on the hosting record and click “Submit”

Q3: Which DNS record types does this service support?

A: This service can support 5 record types (A, AAAA, MX, CNAME and TXT) for subdomain and 4 record types for root zone ‘@’ (A, AAAA, MX and TXT).

Q4: What is the format of subdomain?

A: The format is the same as a .hk / .香港 domain name.

For English subdomain, it (1) contains 2-63 English letters, (2) may contain one or more uppercase or lowercase English letters, numbers and/or hyphens, (3) does not contain hyphens in the third and fourth character positions.

For Chinese subdomain, it (1) contains at least one or more Chinese Characters, (2) may contain one or more uppercase or lowercase English letters, numbers and/or hyphens, (3) is not more than 15 Chinese Characters, letters or numbers in total length, (4) begins and end with a Chinese Character, a letter or a number, and (5) does not contain hyphens in the third and fourth character positions.

Q5: When will the service be activated after submission?

A: The service will be activated in 5 minutes. Please note that it may take several hours for the services to be ready and online.
