Forgot Domain Authorization Code
If you have lost your account password or Authorisation Code and need to apply for a new one, please download the application forms and follow the procedures below:
Domain Names registered by an organisation
For domain names registered by an organisation (‘.hk’, ‘.com.hk’, ‘.net.hk’, ‘.edu.hk’, ‘.org.hk’, ‘.gov.hk’, .公司.香港, .網絡.香港, .教育.香港, .組織.香港, .政府.香港 ), please follow the procedures below:
- Fill in the required information on the letter.
- The organisation name and BR/relevant document number must be identical to those you provided to your registrar before;
- You must provide an email address, as the account password and/or Authorisation Code will be sent to you by email.
- Sign and date the letter by a Director with your company chop.
- Mail, fax or email the application letter and a copy of your registration document to HKDNR.
Domain Names registered by an individual
For domain names registered by an individual, please follow the procedures below:
- Fill in the required information:
- The name of the domain name holder must be identical to that on your HKID card/relevant document.
- You must provide an email address, as the account password and/or Authorisation Code will be sent to you by email.
- Sign and date the application form.
- Attach a copy of your Hong Kong ID card.
Please refer to the HKDNR website for more details on the required documentary proofs. For those aged below 18, please also send in your parent/guardian’s duly signed copy of documents certifying their legal presence and relationship by mail, fax or email.
