Q1: What kind of information can be modified?
A: You can modify the name server information (including primary and secondary name servers and IP addresses).
Q2: Where can I modify information on the name servers?

Q3: What are the procedures for modifying information on name servers?
A: Procedures for modifying information on name servers are:
- Login to your account with Username and Password.
- Select the domain
- Select modify DNS (MNS)
- Review excisting information of name servers and make necessary changes
- Complete application and take note of the tracking number (MNS xxxxxx)
Q4: What is the fee for modification on name servers?
A: For domain names registered under the latest HKDNR Registration Agreement, the modifications of name server information is FREE of charge; as for domain names registered under the Old Contract, an administrative fee (HK$200) will be charged for each of the modification request.
Q5: What kinds of documentary proof are needed for the modifications?
A: For domain names registered under the latest HKDNR Registration Agreement, no document is required unless special requested by HKDNR; whereas for those registered under the Old Contract and have not completed re-registration with HKDNR, document(s) is required, please refer to “Summary of Re-Registration Action” for details.
Q6: When does my modifications be effective?
A: Starting from 24 July 2006, modifications on name servers will be implemented on the same day as request.
Q7: How can I cancel/ stop my modification request if I submit wrong information by mistake?
A: In case wrong information has been submitted, you can submit another modification request right away. The change will be effective in several hours.
