Domain Name System (DNS) is a system that translates human-recognizable computer hostname into the IP address, so that the machine of this IP address can be reached through the network.
The DNS record stores the host related information, which includes NS, A, MX and SOA.
NS (Name server): Specify the name server to be used to look up a domain.
MX (Mail Exchange): Specify mail server(s) for the domain.
A (A-Record): Indicate a FQDN is linked to an IP address.
HKDNR does not provide email hosting service. If you need to use your registered .hk domain as your company email, please contact other email hosting companies for assistance.

Step 1: Please log in to your account
Step 2: Click on ‘Manage’ at your selected domain
Step 3: Click “DNS Hosting”
Step 4: Input or change the details on the hosting record and click “Submit”
HKDNR’s DNS hosting service is free of charge
The DNS hosting service of HKDNR does not support the followings:
- Host name and record start with a symbol
- SPF record setting
- DKIM record setting
- DMARC record setting
The DNS TXT (text) record allows a domain administrator to enter text into the Domain Name System (DNS). One domain can have many TXT records. You can use TXT records for various purposes. For example, Google uses them to verify domain ownership and ensure email security.
